''What's Next'' at Metro Market and Mariano's?

(Wednesday, April 2) - Metro Market and Mariano’s are excited to announce an open call for local vendors with innovative items, inviting them to be part of “What’s Next”! While the Midwest may be the Third Coast, in terms of culinary greatness Wisconsin and Illinois are second to none!
Many great meals begin with local favorites. Enjoy Wisconsin-made cheeses with homegrown honey and jam, and Chicago’s famous giardiniera with your favorite meals. Bakeries feature local Kringle and Italian cookies reminiscent of what your grandmother used to bake. Indulge in the aromas of locally roasted coffee and experiment in the kitchen with new pastas to find your new weekly staple.

Every great regional producer starts small, and the Roundy’s team is committed to helping businesses grow their brands. Local is more than just a buzzword — it’s a core value.

“What’s Next” invites local chefs, artisans and foodies to pitch their products in a live presentation format. Those selected will receive guidance and mentorship from Mariano’s and Metro Market teams during the onboarding process.

Selected applicants will be invited to give a brief presentation on the corresponding date listed below.
Metro Market presentations will occur on Thursday, May 1 at the downtown Milwaukee office (875 E. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee).
Mariano’s presentations will occur on Thursday, May 8 at a Mariano’s West Loop at 40 S. Halsted.
